The Epistle of James 야고보서 (According to wiki)
The author identifies himself in the opening verse as "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ".
From the middle of the third century, patristic authors cited the Epistle as written by James the Just, a relation of Jesus and first Bishop of Jerusalem. Not numbered among the Twelve Apostles, unless he is identified as James the Less, James was nonetheless a very important figure: Paul described him as "the brother of the Lord" in Galatians 1:19 and as one of the three "pillars of the Church" in 2:9. He is traditionally considered the first of the Seventy Disciples.

야고보 서간은 예수의 동생 야고보가 디아스포라(해외거주 유대인)에게 쓴 편지로, 신약성서 중 한 권이다. 한글개역판에서는 야고보서, 공동번역성서에서는 야고보의 편지라고 번역하였다.

12사도: 사도의 자격은 인간으로 세상에 오신 예수 그리스도를 만났고, 그분의 가르침을 배운 사람이기 때문에, 복음서에서는 예수의 직제자 12명을 사도라고 부른다.(마르코 3:16-19) 하지만 가리옷 사람 유다가 자살하여 사도직을 버리자, 사도들은 '예수께서 활동하실때 우리와 같이 있던 사람'중 하나인 마티아에게 사도직을 맡겼다.(사도행전 1:21-26) 이후 성령강림주일에 탄생한 교회(사도행전 2:1-47)를 탄압하던 바울로(사울)가 예수 그리스도를 만났다고 주장하면서 자신의 사도로서의 권위를 주장하였다.(1고린토 15:10) 그래서 기독교에서는 성 바울로를 사도로 인정하며, 그의 회심을 교회력을 통해 사도 바울로의 회심일로 기념한다.
